Upper trough will clear eastwards across the North Sea into Scandinavia on Sunday, although its angle of pivot means parts of northern and eastern Scotland will still be close to its western flank, with a strong WNW-ly jet aloft. As a result, diurnal heating will result in a few hundred Jkg-1 MLCAPE, with scattered showers and a couple of weakly-electrified thunderstorms (especially towards Aberdeenshire), capable of producing some small hail and gusty winds.

A few isolated showers are also possible in parts of East Anglia, but here convective depth probably too shallow for lightning.
