Upper low will drift slowly over the Northern Isles on Saturday, weakening as it exits across the northern North Sea. The associated cold air aloft atop relatively warm SSTs will generate a couple hundred J/kg CAPE. Scattered showers are expected, with a small risk of isolated lightning.
