An Atlantic frontal system will continue to affect many parts of Wales and England during Saturday, moving gradually southeastwards in an environment with moist low-levels, marked wind veer and strong shear. As such, some line convection / segments will be possible within the frontal rain, but the risk of lightning is considered too low to warrant any threat levels.
To the north of this frontal boundary an environment with cold air aloft atop reasonably warm SSTs will generate some instability for scattered showers to affect parts of Scotland, Ireland, and NW England. A few isolated lightning strikes will be possible, more especially towards N / NW Scotland where convection will tend to be deepest - particularly during the evening hours.
