Following the main frontal band of rain (and hill snow), scattered showers will move across Ireland into western Britain on Sunday. Given a couple hundred J/kg CAPE and strong shear, a few isolated lightning strikes may be possible. Convective depth will be somewhat restricted away from NW Ireland and W Scotland, but given the wind profile there could be an opportunity for a low-topped supercell.
