ISSUED 08:22 UTC Sat 14 Mar 2020

Line convection is likely to develop along the cold front, affecting Ireland during Saturday afternoon before crossing the Irish Sea to Wales and England on Saturday night. However, given weak instability the risk of lightning is considered fairly low. Elsewhere, showers/showery rain will develop over W Scotland and NW Ireland on Saturday night, which may produce isolated lightning strikes.
