Some decaying pockets of elevated convection will be possible, embedded within areas of rain, on Wednesday morning across the northern half of Ireland into SW Scotland, and then later during the evening / overnight hours across southern Ireland, Celtic Sea to SW England. In both cases the risk of lightning is considered very low, perhaps greatest over the open waters of the Atlantic to the S / SW of Ireland during Wednesday night.
