On Friday morning, pulses of heavy rain affecting central/southern/eastern England and central/southern Scotland may produce the odd isolated lightning strike. During the overnight hours, both the warm and cold fronts tracking northeastwards and associated narrow bands of locally heavy rain could also produce the odd isolated lightning strike - but the risk is very low in any one location.
