For a time on Sunday morning, there could be some enhanced convection in the vicinity of the surface low centre - but this will likely weaken with time. There may also be some shallow line convection during the evening hours across southern and eastern England. Otherwise, the post-frontal environment, as an upper trough swings southeastwards through the evening and night, will provide the main focus for potentially a few isolated lightning strikes as clusters of showers affect primarily Ireland, Wales, SW England and the Channel Islands.
