Pulses of showery rain will spread eastwards across Ireland into England and Wales through Saturday and Saturday night, within a fairly humid airmass. Forecast profiles are very moist with pockets of instability, and as such a few odd lightning strikes cannot be ruled out where the heaviest bursts of rain occur - but the risk in any one location is very low. In addition, a few showers will likely develop over NE Scotland on Saturday afternoon, maturing as they drift offshore.
